every time i try to convert a dds for the trees, the background shows up in game. ive tried erasing it, coloring it over with squares, spraypaint thingy, everything.....so my question is how do get rid of the background behind the trees?

gills do you think you could make a really nice turbo sample that doesn't sound wierd when it down-spools or whatever you want to call it?

where is the glove box located on the dds? interior1 or 2?

i don't have a camera so i can't help you out with that but im going to make a quicky and post it so you can tell me if im going in the right direction.

i guess ill do it then. i just bought a 240sx so it should be easy to replicate.

here's my xrt, as realistic as i can get it, works with me but i was wondering if some1 could make a better turbo spool and a bov that actually sounds like a bi-turbo, preferably a supra!!!. try it out and please help if anyone can record and edit sounds. i'll post some good vids for sound samples soon.

nvm found a good bov but needs to be faster... and i realized that if you use the original turbo sound from lfs in csr, it spools nicely and towards the higher rpm's it adds a wastegate sound if you keep it a a lower frequency. try it!

if i knew how to do it i would, some one should try it if they have some spare time or if someone does have it, they should give us an idea to run with and make this easier because i don't think anyone would mind having a rev limiter. Then maybe it will end up in a patch so everybody has it!

it's been "under construction" for some time, but it was full of textures and that's where most people got them. I hope it comes back.... but every time i paint my calipers any color they are a shade of red???? is it just me?

no matter what color you make them they come out a shade of red. i just tried to make sure, so i made them white and they were bright red, made them green...dark red. so your stuck with red, but you could make them really dark/black, but that's about all.Sorry

what color you want, it takes like 2 min.


nevermind this already happened......it's gotta be a shade of red.95% positive

ive seen that top secret skin a lot too, but no way to really know. could be a coincidence, probably not, but if the creator isn't him then hopefully he will see this and we will all know the truth. they don't look too good either...

thanks for the posts so quick, but first of all i want 400+ solely because i love 240's and would not have it any other way. this car isn't going to be driven everyday, i want a track/ road car brought out on the weekends. I know i have to get used to it and what not but it''s gonna be a long project and it's gonna be sitting in my friends shop for a while before it's sitting in my driveway. i got bodywork covered, i just want to get info on what i should do as far as internals go, drivetrain, turbo, i want to know what brands i should look at, good applications that people have done successfully, ext...and please make sure the info you give me isn't just what you would like to see, i want to make sure i encounter the least amount of problems. thanks-keep posting im taking notes

i think this is the right place to post, but anyway i just bought 93 240sx and im looking for around 400+rwhp. ive never owned or done any work on a nissan so im pretty clueless. So im asking, what motor RB, CA18?, turbo size?, piston size? anything will help- thanks

does anyone have the original glass file cause im usually in the xrt and all im ever gonna notice is yellow glass in front of my speedo. Good job though, it looked sweet on my fzr

i found the plate on google, it just looked like a sticker or something but if you made it then im sorry for erasing the outline and posting it. i didn't mean any harm just tell me if you want it off the page. and i use mspaint so everythings a little crapy but good enough for me! the touch-up looks nice though

lol no just cut out the background and throw it on top of your skin and it will fit perfectly. its in 4096 so just resize it to your skin, it looks sweet
